To use, soak in warm water about 15-20 minutes, or until softened, and when ready to drain, lift mushrooms out with a slotted spoon (save the liquid by straining it through a cheesecloth). Slice or chop before using to add flavor to your soups, sauces, stews, and pan sauces. Be sure to pour the reserved, clear soaking liquid in as well.
