MAINE COWS. MAINE MILK. MAINE CHEESE.
About Pineland Farms
Pineland Farms Creamery was founded in 2005 as a farmstead cheese operation and educational venue to connect consumers with their food. Initially, the milk used to make our cheeses came from the Valley Farm at Pineland Farms in New Gloucester, Maine. As the business grew, more Maine farms were added and by 2017 we outgrew our creamery in New Gloucester. In 2018 we moved into a dairy facility that we totally renovated. Pineland Farms Dairy strives to produce the highest quality cheese available. We support local dairy farmers by using 100% fresh Maine milk to handcraft our specialty cheeses in a state-of-the-art facility using old-world cheese making techniques. Our hands-on cheesemaking ensures personal care goes into every batch. We produce award winning Cheddars in various ages, Jacks, Baby Swiss, Feta, and cheese curds. By purchasing Pineland Farms, you are not only getting the finest cheese, but you are supporting Northeast farms, The Northeast economy, and a regional food system that is better for you and the environment!
The pride that our farmers have in their farms carries though to Pineland Farms, and is reflected in our plant operations and the pride that our employees have for the products they produce. We have a vision for growth, and it’s bigger than just making cheese, it comes down to resilience and supporting our family farmers. We can’t make great milk any better, but it enables us to make great cheese out of great Maine milk. MAINE COWS. MAINE MILK. MAINE CHEESE.
