About Hudson Valley Farms

Our story began in 1985 with the founding of Hudson Valley Foie Gras by Chef Michael Ginor and Farmer Izzy Yanay on 200 lush acres in upstate New York. Hudson Valley Farms has helped pioneer the Farm to Table movement and culinary transformation of the United States over the last 40+ years. Since day one, our mission has been to elevate the quality of our gourmet poultry and food products, guided by our core value - that the highest quality products are only produced with the highest quality of care and attention to detail.
 
Today, we produce a very wide range of specialty duck, chicken and gourmet products spanning raw, to ready-to-eat charcuterie, heat-and-eat, and shelf stable offerings where every part of our animals is utilized. We raise our specialty breed Moulard ducks on our farm where they are sheltered in cage-free open air barns to protect them from varying weather conditions, and wildlife predators. Our chickens are Regeneratively Raised on pastured family farms and fed a unique combination of grain and vegetables at in proprietary programs, which we believe, are the pinnacle of poultry. Our love of animals has guided us over our 40+ year history to provide the best possible care for our animals. Beyond farming, we craft a variety of charcuterie and ready to eat products in our Hudson Valley Farms Kitchen.
 
Hudson Valley Farms has been uniquely committed to fostering the connection between farm, chef, and consumer. Our founders have both been inducted of the James Beard Foundation's Who's Who of Food and Beverage have been key figures in the culinary community. The farm has also received top awards from the American Culinary Institute, the American Academy of Hospitality Sciences, and many other organizations. Many of the world’s top chefs and restaurants proudly serve Hudson Valley products daily. We celebrate the burgeoning interest in meeting the farmers that raise our food.
