FirstFruits Farms is dedicated to growing the highest quality apples and cherries in the industry. We grow over 12 varieties of apples and cherries, both organically and conventionally, spread across 8,000 acres in central Washington. We are unique in the industry because we grow, store, and pack our fruit all at the same location – a practice unmatched by other suppliers. This integrated supply chain gives us the greatest degree of control over the quality and safety of our products.

The entirety of our orchards and facilities are certified by the Equitable Food Initiative, a nonprofit certification that requires us to reach 300+ standards centered around social responsibility, worker-manager collaboration, and food safety.

ABOUT OPAL®

Our proprietary and exclusive variety, Opal®, is unlike any other. Opal® is a cross between Topaz and Golden Delicious. Growing both organically and conventionally, Opal® apples are available late October through early May. Opals® are beautifully bright yellow with a distinctively crunchy texture and a sweet, tangy flavor. Opals® are naturally non-browning, meaning they will not brown even after slicing and dicing - making them lunchbox heroes and perfect for prepping ahead for use in a variety of recipes.
