Sweet and spicy, these pretty Japanese turnips typically grow to over one foot long, from bottom to top, not counting their edible leaves. Their radish-laced flavor makes them a wonderful option for peeling, then thinly shaving for salads or slicing to pickle, roast, or sauté.
